Love chocolates

Do you love chocolates? I believe most girls love them.. we just can't resist the sweetness of chocolates when they melt in our mouth and perhaps our heart *wow but I still don't understand why we give chocolates during Valentine's day? Someone please explain.. why not candy.. or bento.. or cake... or something else?

And something wrong with me lately, I keep buying chocolates lol! Maybe I wanna purchase all the chocolates in the market and make it unavailable during Valentine's day =D #justkidding I love chocolates but currently I have chocolate overdose sickness *vomit* I feel sick when I see chocolates now. So I give most of the chocolates to my family =D Anyway these are the chocolates I bought from Beryl's during CNY promotion. Darn cheap, bought so many chocolates and only cost less than RM100. Anyway Beryl's is not my favourite except the chocolate mint. Chocolate mint is quite hard to be found =/

Ahhah I like this- Macadamia is the best nut I've tasted! I remember my dad bought whole large packet of wasabi flavoured macadamia from New Zealand. So crunchy and delicious! But I can't find them here =(

So what's the difference between white and dark chocolate? White chocolate is actually consists of cocoa butter (the fatty component separated from the dark colour solid of cacao), thus it is white in colour and lacks of the antioxidant component.

Anyway I think I have too many of them.. I need to distribute free chocolates to my friends during Valentine's day or else I would die from diabetes or obesity lol

Kek Lok Si Temple

Visited Kek Lok Si Temple with friends during Chinese New Year. It is renowned for the CNY lanterns decoration at night. As a "former" Penang-lang, I've been there for many times with my family but not on CNY because dad would say it'll be very congested and bla bla. So this year my friend suggested it randomly during gathering when all of us finished eating and squeezing brain juice on where to go LOL since Kulim has nothing (well the most happening place there is McD wth) =D

Kek Lok Si Temple (Temple of Supreme Bliss) is the best known temple in Penang Island as well as in Malaysia. The construction began in 1890 (so it has a long long~ history), inspired by the chief monk of the Goddess of Mercy Temple (I don't know who is that =.= [quoted from Wikipedia]). The most renowned landmarks are the pagoda and enormous statue of Kuan Yin (you can know more from Wikipedia lol).

Sadly I went there after 11pm when it was about to close, therefore I didn't get to the top where the pagoda and Kuan Yin statue located. I just managed to capture few photos due to the congestion, seriously it's like all the cars in Penang were heading to Air Itam =.=" Anyway my skill failed max because this was my first time taking photos at night haha

CNY what's my say

It's Chinese New Year yet I feel so bored to stay in KL. I no longer yearn to get angpow, feel excited to tear it and look how much money I get and no longer look forward Chinese New Year's holidays. Haha I guess this is the effect of growing up lol Last time, I went to visit my great-grandma in Klang but I have not been there for many years after she passed away. I cherished the moment to be with my grandpa, to listen to his funny stories with silly gestures and boast about the time when he was a police sargeant. Time passes, things change, and people do change as well.

Anyway, forget about the sad things. This festive season is a great time for family reunion especially meeting my bro and sis. Since our relatives are quite few (my mom has an unmarried bro, my dad has a sis), we enjoy playing ourselves haha like mahjong and poker LOL

The only day that keeps me busy is on 2nd day of Chinese New Year when all the grandaunts and granduncles visit my grandma's house. Every year I'll feel shy at this moment since I don't have topics to chat with them yet I need to be in living room as a good and polite young lady LOL Sometimes they'll ask me couple of questions haha So here are the typical questions to be asked by uncles and aunties! haha XD

Hmm.. *pretend to be professional although that's more on the job scope of dietitian* Ahhh don't eat this and that and that bla bla bla..

And this ends the second day of Chinese New Year and I'll be forever boring again until I back to Kulim, Kedah! I moved to Penang when I was small until Standard 5, so I've lost contact with most of my friends there. Therefore, most of my best friends are in Kedah! That's the time I look forward the most! :D So I gonna back tomorrow yeah! Wanna see them very much :)

Haha just a random post or rant since I'm so free and boring now.. LOL so again I wish all of you happy Chinese New Year and have a prosperous and lucky dragon year :)

"Cheapo" (sorta branded) CNY new clothes

I know.. the title is a bit complicated right lol *clear throat* As a thrifty poor college student who depend solely on PTPTN and wanna save money for graduation trip, I decide to plan out my CNY new clothes budget wisely. And the good news is I came across a lot of sales during Christmas....:) So wanna "show off" the cheap stuffs I got for CNY and trust me.. it's unbelievably cheap and not from pasar malam lah haha

#1 Cotton On

Cotton On always has sales and the clothes are very cheap during promotion. I like their clothes because they're comfortable although the quality is not so good if compared to other brands like Mango. So here're some clothes that I got from Cotton On.

Black shirt RM15- I like this very much.. can show off my shoulder.. *pretend to be sexy*

Slipper...... trust me.. I dunno how I found this.. but it's extremely cheap.. only RM6!!

Just bought a sleeveless top and bag.. the top is RM39 and the bag is RM99. Although it's over budget but the actual price is over RM200 and I really need a bag :D

I bought several clothes during the warehouse sales. Very very cheap but have to rebut with people like pasar malam haha luckily I went on weekday so not very packed.

Today is 01.01.2012, I believe this will be a great and fruitful year for me as another stage of my life is approaching :) Speaking of new year's resolution, I think the follow quote from New Year's Eve is best described what I gonna do.

I'm definitely a lazy bum! My blog is in hibernation mode for many days since I'm darn busy this few weeks. Anyway thinking a lot of things lately like planning what to do after graduation, YES I'm gonna graduate next year around May-June! Time flies, every moment in UPM is awesome LOL but the only disappointment is I think what I have learnt is not much relevant to Nutrition. Wasted all my study time there :/

Anyway why this post is on? Of course I gonna flash back what have happened in 2011 :) 2011 is another ordinary year for me but a little changes occurred if compared to previous years. And guess what I always been thinking this might be last year of celebrating all the events with my dearest friends in UPM as next year we might be apart to pursue what we choose after graduation :) So let's start all the wonderful things encountered in 2011 on this last day of the year!

#1 Of course the most fruitful event of this year is the internship in ISN. It was the most awesome moment ever as I've learnt many things ranging from nutritional knowledge includes supplements, anthropometric measurement, nitritional advice and education, to become a stalker of muscular sportsmen LOL I also made a bunch of new friends from there too! Guess what was the comment from my supervisor, I'm hardworking haha but too quiet!! She encouraged me to speak more, ask for their help and socialize, in order to gain more knowledge and opportunities. I always know I have this problem, haha I feel shy to talk unless I'm really familiar with them! :P I truly cherished the moment there, had so much fun working there because they're not only working, but will go makan-makan and jalan-jalan together! :))

#2 Next is my part time work in International Furniture Market. Too bad I didn't take photos there! This is the first time I've been working like so "in-depth" lol Actually it was an exhibition of furniture company located in MAEPS, Serdang. First 2 days I was in the operation team, looked after the whole hall because the construction was carried out there to construct the wooden floor and the booth. It was a whole new experience since I never witness the whole process of construction for an exhibition. I can see how they carry all the woods, more correctly is the materials looked so "MISERY" but they can make it into a grand and awesome booth! I was like a contractor haha wore mask since the environment was dusty and dirty, and had a walkie-talkie, ordered the workers to wear pass and directed them here and there! LOL Then when the site was ready for exhibition, I turned into a receptionist at information counter haha. Although the job was really tough especially in operation team because many conflicts occurred between the contractor and organizer, and we were the ones always got scolded by both sides. But in turn, I've learnt a lot of new things :) like how to deal with people and look into the reality of working.

#3 And it didn't stop here! Next one is.... *ta da* I finally enroll in Japanese language course! I'm interested to learn this long time ago but didn't manage to register due to my timetable. Japanese language is interesting and fun! Now I can understand the drama and anime (a bit la, still need to rely the subtitles) and can act half Japanese hahaha who knows I'll further study in Japan and make full use of what I've learnt :P

#4 Also, in this year, I've attended NSM Scientific Conference which is an important event for all the nutritionist in Malaysia to share the updated scientific evidences and studies (although I spent most of the time eating and sleeping there). Next year will be my batch to present but this conference is focus more on community health, while my study is on nutritional science. Anyway I'll be there to support my coursemates haha it's always an intense "fight" between UPM and UKM lmao

#5 Malacca backpack trip with friends! I've decided to join at very last minute because I think Malacca is a boring place. But I was wrong! I had so much fun for this trip :) The food there are delicious!! I had the chance to taste mille crepe, Nyonya cuisine, Portuguese cuisine, fried oyster and cockles :) Also got to know the comfortable and extremely nice guest house- Tang's House to stay over. Thanks to my friends for planning this out so successfully.

#6 Attended the course night, this might be ordinary for all of you but not me! This is the last year of attending course night in UPM :)) Glad to know the cute juniors. They're awesome!

Every day when we browse through the newspaper, we are bombarded by the local news on unwanted pregnancies, sexual transmitted diseases and babies abandonment issues. Particularly, the unplanned pregnancies rate is increasing at an exponential rate as stated below:

"Kuala Lumpur, 14 November 2011 – The government has recently announced that between 2006 and 2010, there were 21 recorded cases of students who got pregnant out of marriage. Statistics from the Welfare Department revealed that this year, from January to April, 111 young girls were pregnant."

What is the major cause of all these problems? We can say that it's the lack of sexual and reproductive health information and education among girls in this country especially on the use of contraceptives. Therefore, Durex, the world’s largest selling condom brand, organises a sexual and reproductive health college programme themed ‘One Voice, Prevention is Key’, in hopes to empower youths to create awareness about sexual health and contraceptive options that leads them to make informed decisions. I have visited the information booth in UPM regarding this programme.

Anyway, just to share more information on sexual and reproductive health to you :) As I'm a nutrition and community health student, I've learnt this topic for a whole semester since nutrition students in UPM always involve in sexual reproductive health activity to empower students and women on the use of contraceptive and family planning. My friends even demonstrate the use of condom on sex toy to teach the students the correct way to wear a condom *shy* Of course all of us must know that never afraid to speak it out whenever you have doubt. Sex is not a taboo and students should seek consultation or information regarding this issue.

Firstly, condom is the safest way to prevent sexual transmitted diseases especially HIV/AIDS. Woman has the right to ask the partner to wear condom in order to protect herself from unwanted pregnancy and STDs. During the visit to Federation of Reproductive Health Association (FRHAM), we're first educated on the steps of wearing condom. As a science student, I always thought my knowledge on sexual reproductive health is ample, but turns out my knowledge on this area is scarce. I feel surprise that I actually do not know the steps until the staffs there demonstrated it on a fake penis. Just a reminder, the first step is always remember to check the expiry date lol Also, I do not know that there's actually female condom available in the market. So if the guy refused to wear condom, maybe the girls can consider a female condom. Just bear in mind that condom is extremely important because I've seen many cases in which the girlfriend or wife infected with HIV from the boyf or husband.

Secondly, family planning always stresses on the slogan "Not too early, not too late, not too close" which means not to have babies in a very young age before 18 years old, not too old after 35 years old and not too close at a gap of less than 1 and 1/2 years for healthy babies and mothers.

The first time to attend this kind of event, thanks to Jun Fook for the free passes! Obviously he's the self claimed "bad influence" of UPM students lol I get to attend with my friends :) No longer the good girl who like to study at Library *cough*

Just one word to describe the party, it's so awesome! We're standing right in front of the stage, with all the cameras around us lol we're actually blocking some of them cameramen haha All of us are so hyped up, everyone sings and dance along with the performances of special guests of the night!

Officially I'm getting older AGAIN. It keeps repeating every year and I feel emo to celebrate my birthday lol it makes me keep thinking I've wasted my 23 years without accomplish anything... LOL instead of celebrating my birthday, I appreciate mama more because that was the day she experienced so much pain to give birth :O

Anyway, a big THAKKKIUUUU for my <3 housemates to have dinner with me and give me a sweet card and birthday cake! Glad to have them in my uni life and perhaps the rest of my life, friends forever! hehe :)

And and and, I've watched "You're the apple of my eyes" on my birthday! I feel damn emo after watching it, haha! I wanted to return to my secondary school life SO MUCH! It was the happiest moment! I love my secondary school life and classmates! We lepak, ponteng and study together! Play hard and study smart! I miss the way we learn together and encouraging each other. We even attend tuition together.. and until now, my chemistry tuition teacher still talks about us to our juniors, like saying how naughty we are but yet we score well in tests haha! XD She even remembers the particular seat of each student! So niceeee~ and all the students, including Malay, Chinese, and Indian in my class mingle well :D Can you believe that the top student in my class is a ponteng kaki and smoker? haha but he's very nice and I remember how we cheated to teacher and said he was having diarrhea when he ponteng class LOL I used to sit at the last row in class with 3 Indian boys and 2 Chinese girls. Together we kacau kacau and have fun =) but I seldom contact them now, since all of us are busy with study.. 3 of them are taking medic, 2 nutrition (including me lol), and 1 chem engineering but he's going to work in Aus, departing today! Wish him best of luck :))

Nutrition Course Night 11' 花花世界

It's course night again. Every year we'll have a prom to let us know our first year juniors, watch their performance and have fun together :) This year the theme is flourish world 花花世界 Actually I'm not really fond of this theme because we had enough of FLOWERS during our year with the theme of Hawaii night LOL so again, this year we'll be bombarded by all the colourful dresses and decorations.

Recently, I'm very busy. Busy reading journal articles, busy doing proposal, busy completing my group's presentation for seminar. Okay, just as the title of this entry, I'm wondering whether I'm really busy or just slacking off? haha I'm busy wandering during day and night, and I start to do my work at midnight LOL and the worse thing is my output is reducing day by day haha

Anyway my focus span is too short so I can't concentrate doing one stuff for a long time. So weekend is definitely my fav cuz I won't stay in hostel. Here's some photos of last weekend outing with my friends!

Our night didn't end here. Next- Overtime @Pavilion! Wanted to try their Starker for a long time! So we order aromatic starker. I like it because it's smooth and has a special fragrant at the same time, but most of my friends don't like it haha

Am extremely happy! Buy 1 free 1 wee ^^ but OctoberFest is gonna end soon :(

End up that night, a friend of mine, wasted and throw up lol plus hang over on the next day. She said it's the awful effect of this distasteful starker lol she really hates it to the max.

Okay the next photo is basically unrelated at all to this entry, but I just want to show some of the cheap novels I got from Big Bad Wolf warehouse sales. The place is extremely near to my campus, so i go there again and again lol

I'm reading snow flower and secret fans now, it's a nice and sad story about the life and fate of women in China during dynasty Ching. The women need to bind their feet to 5-7cm when they were 5 years old. They need to walk right after binding to brake the bones, and the white binding cloth will be full of blood and pus on their feet. Moreover, 1 out of 10 girls will be dying of the binding due to infection. The smaller the feet, the richer family they can be marry to. They have no choice on their marriage, and need to obey the family rules strictly. I feel so grateful that I was born in modern era *__* Well then, I have to keep reading now, not yet reach the climax of the story lol

Japanese Language Festival (Day 2: #2 ゆかた Yukata)

Yukata post is finally up, keep procrastinating all my pending jobs including my proposal for final year project! Too lazy lately, think I'm evolving into PIG.

2nd day in the school! So energetic in the morning haha みなさんは　おげんきですか。

In the class with the teacher, she's extremely friendly and I like her very much :) She's explaining to us about yukata. Yukata is actually their casual wear during summer :) She also teaches us how to wear it in a correct way!

The process is rather complicated, the steps from wearing to folding are quite unique lol so I can't really remember it now. Something wrong with my psychomotor I guess. Slow in picking up haha

Japanese Language Festival (Day 2: #1 ふろしきFuroshiki)

JFest's day 2 is exciting as we have chosen 3 workshops to learn some new cultural crafts of Japan :D And the best part is the sensei are Japanese, so it's time to communicate in simple Japanese language.

#1 ふろしきFuroshiki (Japanese handkerchief wrapping)

If you're a fans of Japanese movies, you'll see a lot of furoshiki craft. They like to wrap their bottles, lunch boxes, presents, etc with colourful and pretty cloths.

In the furoshiki class, sensei taught us to use the おおきい(big) or ちいさい(small) to wrap bottles, box and ball respectively.

Sensei is teaching us to tie knots, it's quite easy, just like what we learnt from scout haha

Japanese Language Festival (Day 1)

Japanese Language Festival was held in Sekolah Menengah (P) Jalan Ipoh on last weekend :) As a level 2 Japanese Language student, I was given an opportunity to participate in this festival (actually it's a festival for secondary school Japanese Language Club) *giggle* Anyway it's good to learn something and have fun in this kind of event rite? Let's cut the chase, times for photos (captured by Kristy)!

With my housemates/coursemates :) This festival was held for 2 days. First day- market & Second day- cultural workshops. So we just roamed around the market and maybe spoke some simple Japanese words. Rule of the day- the more Japanese words you communicate during a bargain, the cheaper the stuffs!

Origami (Japanese Paper Craft)- Can't imagine they can fold all these cute little stuffs by hands! So interesting!

I love the red rose! So nicely folded, can't imagine it's made by paper unless I look at it closely.

And the penguin as well! So CUTE!!! <3

Playing Kanji-Hiragana word matching game. Actually I not yet learn kanji at my level, but since it's almost same with mandarin, I just guess it. LOL

It's always the delicious food when we think of Japan! Tempura, ramen, udon, sushi, doraeyaki, takoyaki etc. Menu of the day! Do you know how to read it? haha..

Malacca #5: Cockles and Fried Oyster @Jalan Bunga Raya

Again my Malacca post is coming up, hope you all won't be bored of my countless posts on Malacca lol Back to the topic, this time we are going to a stall in an alley of Jalan Bunga Raya which is famous for the seafood such as cockles, clams, field snails, bean curd, fried fish ball, squid and etc. If you don't mind the clamped dirty place and longkang smell, this might be a good spot for seafood :) Anyway it's quite a famous spot, airing @HoChak! 8TV before.

Anyway I don't really like the seafood there because the cockles are too raw and I really can't accept the snails *yucks* but I think it's quite cheap although I already forgot the actual price lol

Then we proceed to another alley, also around Jalan Bunga Raya, which is famous for fried oyster omelette. Many people are lining up for it. I really highly recommend this because it's very delicious, comparable to Penang! And I really wanna crave for more after finishing up it with my friends.

The seafood stall and this fried oyster only opens after 7pm. You may give it a try when going to Malacca :) Around 15-20 minutes walk from Jonker Street :D

Behind the scene:

When we were eating halfway at the seafood stall, suddenly the strong wind blew away the advertisement board and then the light at our table suddenly shut off, followed by big stormy downpour. It really freaked us out! Then we paid the bill frantically and ran to the shop lot out of the dark alley. The rain was too heavy and we couldn't walk back to the hotel. I planned to buy an umbrella but ended up all of us bought raincoats.

We look like murderers at rainy night huh?

Today dad gave me a call and shared an article he read on this morning about our education system. Suddenly he spoke to me about life and future but seriously he seldom talked to me in this serious manner. He encouraged me to have a positive disposition to life and tried to change my future. Doesn't mean what I'm studying now must be my future career as we always have a chance to change it.

"People doesn't give a damn on what you're studying but what you can handle during working. As long as you bear interest and commit it, you could have a bright future. Forget about the past and don't blame the government or society. I can see it obviously since you're small, you're gifted so don't waste your talent. I feel sad when you said what you're studying now is useless and I blame myself because I can't afford to give you a better education. I never speak to you like this but actually I'm not stupid. I can see it. Do you really wanna be a nutritionist? You must know what you want. Once you figure it out and strive towards it, you would be excellent. Life is too short, just pursue what you like after graduating next year."

Although it might be a random conversation between a father and daughter, but I seriously feel every word that he spoke to me. He's the only one in the world who knows me well. My biggest weakness is lack of determination and target. That's why he wants me to think what I want. Do I really wanna become a nutritionist? Since my early age, I'm good in many things but I don't really excel any of it. I never try to step out from my comfort zone. I've been thinking to be a lawyer/ fashion designer/ child medical specialist/ psychology and etc. My mind's a complete blank when applied for JPA after SPM and ended up I filled in the column with "pure science". Again I was wondering what I wanna study after STPM and ended up with nutrition.

Anyway what I wanna focus now is my future. As the chinese saying goes, "how many 10 years do we really have in our life?" I should seize every precious moment in my life rather than stepping on the initial place and look at the past without proceeding to the next stop. I'm still in my learning process to improve myself and I'm sure it's never too late to mend. But at the moment now, I still want to continue with nutrition and pursue master/phD in overseas :) I feel grateful to have my family and home is forever the best shelter for me. I really appreciate the encouragement from my parents and sisters. Anyway this is life isn't it? Challenges are part and parcel of it. Just do whatever I feel right and live life to the fullest with a bright smile :D

Malacca #4: Cendol

Cendol is my love! The taste of Malacca Sugar is so fragrant and intense :D Speaking about malacca sugar, it is indispensable in making local kuih-muih or desserts. Malacca sugar or gula melaka is actually made by the sap collected from the coconut tree or arenga pinnata palm.

Have tried the cendol at Jonker street :) due to the crowd and limited capacity of the shop on the first day, we visited on another time (imagine the long queue and cramped shop). Ordered durian cendol =D The Malacca sugar used here is very concentrated but it's a little too sweet for me.

The small shop lol Be ready if you're visiting during weekend or holiday!

The service is kinda fast and price is quite cheap :) Do give it a try when you visit Malacca.

Pearson Publication wanna buy my blog's photo?

Received an email on one random evening when I browsed through the net.

I was actually taken aback and thought that somebody is gonna sue me due to the copyright issue LOL turned out it was Pearson Publication in Singapore trying to get my photo during the visit to Yakult company. However, the photo was not taken by me actually and it was my friend. After negotiating through several emails with the person in charged, she told me the photo costs around S$5? So I've decided to give her foc since it's for the textbook for university students like us (although I know they earned a lot from us LMAO). So let's check out the next volume of Principle of Marketing :S since my sis is studying economics in NTU, she might comes across it in the future.

This is the photo requested by her- different Yakult packaging over the world. Obviously it's because of the word SINGAPORE on it lo.

They attached the copyright permission request letter to me too but I forgot to send them back =.=

Anyway I didn't attach my real name or contact number to them in order to be credited in the text book, I think it's unnecessary. Have I done a good deed or what? And of course I told my friend aka the photographer about this too. Kinda unbelievable that a random shot to be much useful for others.

Malacca #3: Tang House

Tang House is located at Jonker Street (right beside the event stage). It's awesome and the lovely guest house is far beyond my expectation! It's a family business, all of them are really friendly and helpful. I love there!

Overall, the guest house is very lovely, artsy and cozy. The room rates are RM35, RM55 and RM70 for single, double and triple room respectively. The outer view is amazing! The mural painting is very artistic and I wonder who painted it! It looks so familiar like the one I've seen from magazine!

Mini Tang House! So cute :D

5 of us stayed in triple room which only costs RM70 per night! The room is quite big and comfortable :) And it's really clean. However, due to limited numbers of rooms in the guest house, early reservation is required.

Breakfast is available at Rm3.60! I love the coffee and egg burger. Feel like being at home :)

Overall I really satisfied with everything provided in the guest house including the service, hospitality, environment and price! It would be my first choice if I visit Malacca and think of overnight there again!

Malacca #2: Nadeje Mille Crepe

After a little farce going on in the bus, ERHEM we actually just arrive Malacca by the time, and we are suppose to go to Jonker Street. We tell the bus driver that we wanna go Jonker Street and ask him to remind us. But he's so BAD and EVIL! He kicked us out at Mahkota Parade. So with all the luggages, BOOM here we are. Although it's out of plan, but who cares? Nadeje outlet is just near to Mahkota Parade :))

We order the original, coffee and green tea mille crepes!

First time trying Mille Crepe, after hearing all the extraordinary good comments from blogger, actually I'm kinda disappointed. Well, I guess it's simply because Mille Crepe doesn't cater me, I like the creamy part but not the wet crepe layers. After all, I guess Nadeje still makes the best Mille Crepe right? :)

But I personally recommend the green tea Mille Crepe! It's delicious! Creamy fillings between the crepes layers, with the fragrant green tea. Not bad :))

Then, my friends go again! They visit the outlet at Dataran Pahlawan. They fall in love with it and wanna crave for more! *Mille Crepe Intoxication* But too bad I didn't follow them so just can show you the photos captured by them!

Both outlets are really packed *full house* on that day. They are really famous so I can't deny the tastiness of the mille crepe ^^ For those who not yet try this, just go and try this out!

Actually I've been to Chillis for many times dy but never blog about it. Obviously I ain't a good blogger (I even can't claim myself as a blogger) lol But this time I gonna blog about this awesome meal I had there!

Apparently, my friend and I got some duno what eyes-got-blinded problem. Both of us ordered fajitas LOL come one lah, how can 2 girls finish up the super duper huge fajitas of Chillis? After the dishes are served, both of us are like.. wth why we order the same thing? We suppose to share it or order something else ROFL

Let see...

Mushroom Jack-Marinated grilled chicken with jack cheese and fresh mushrooms. Served with grilled onions and peppers.

Fajita trio-Grilled steak, chicken and spicy garlic and lime shrimp.

Look! They're almost the same *clap hand* Come with the sour cream, pico de gallo (salsa fresca), guacamole (made by fresh avocado) and tortillas. I feel proud cuz am so pro in introducing all the dressings for the fajitas... but actually.. LOL I overheard the conversation of the mat salleh couples and an Indian friend behind me! From the conversation, I guess they're having the same food as us so the American is introducing the fajitas (from the dressing to how to eat it-step by step tutorial) to the Malaysian friend.

It's really delicious! The scrumptious meat with the dressings and tortilla are 100% matched! I really LOVE the salsa fresca! The tomatoes are so fresh and juicy. Indeed, we really enjoy the food and have fun putting all the ingredients on the tortilla! LOL we have so much fun there. Moreover, we went at 3pm on weekday so not many customers in the restaurant, hence the service was super GOOD ♥ eg keep refilling the beverages, ask you whether the food is nice, keep taking away the unused stuffs on your table etc etc

Jeng jeng camwhore! My low profile friend, unwilling to show her face cuz she said she's too thin (envy to the max, feel wanna punch her so that she can bengkak and at least becum fatter joking).

Thought of getting myself a charm bracelet recently. I'm fancy of the pretty accessories and after watching Monte Carlo, this idea even engraved in my heart when I saw the girl bought a charm of Paris Eiffel Tower. Every charm speaks a different story, don't you think so?

When I browsed through the net, very fast I realized that Thomas Sabo is famous for that but it's way too expensive for me lol. So I came across this very nice online store which sell customized charm bracelet. When I went through the charms one by one, something caught my eyes. It's a cute little bird cave. Believe this? It reminded me of my charm bracelet. I reminisce my childhood moment. The cute bracelet I used to wear for a long time without taking it off my wrist. I actually got a charm bracelet when I was small, around 6 years old! A broken and flattened bird nest came into my mind, vividly. It was misshaped because I bite it every night. I don't understand why I did so, maybe my gums were itchy? hmm.. There was a slipper charm too and I really forgot about the rest on the bracelet.

Since I was small, I'm well pampered by my dad. Although I'm not from a kinda well off family, but my dad always tries his best to get whatever I want. Of course I wouldn't be so greedy and ask for something beyond his ability. And every time he bought me something, mom would scold him for spoiling me too much. Of course this doesn't occur now because I rarely ask him to buy stuffs for me anymore.

And I remember the Garfield backpack that he bought from Pulau Tikus, Penang when I was around Standard 2. I pulled him into the shop and chose it! Actually I was first attracted by a Tweety Bird knapsack which cost around RM90! So my dad asked me to choose another one lol and that red backpack with a big Garfield face finally won! Its price was around RM39.90. During that time, this price was kinda expensive since the backpack was not really a necessity.

**Omg cant believe that I could find the photo in internet! It's exactly the same but mine is in red colour :D Someone is selling this second hand on RM18. Can't believe why they could keep it so well and unlike me! Of course mine was worn out and gone.

I believe most of the girls have this experience. My FM Birthday Bash

This happened last week but I only have the semangat to post naoooo! Proscratination tsk tsk!

So.. *clear throat* the story begins like this:

I got 2 super rock zone tickets from my bro for this event so I've attended it with my bestie :) Actually we are not a big fan of My FM cuz it's too commercialized and every time you wanna listen good music, they'll give you all these long advertisements wth So why we wanna go? Look at the poster and you'll know why!

Forget about all the aliens on the poster but there are a lot of Taiwanese artists will be attending the event! My friend really like 吴克群Kenji Wu! And I wanna see严爵 and Linda 廖语晴!! They are so cute!

So we go to Putra Stadium at Bukit Jalil (this place is so nostalgic cuz I worked in ISN for 2 months and it's just right opposite ISN!)

And guess who I met there before getting into the stadium? Actually I can't even notice him but my friend grabs my shoulder and keep saying "look there look there" So 38! And boo here he is Yean 黄俊阎. I guess many of you duno who is him, he's actually a new local singer emerges with the identity as the student of 黎升铭 who is more popular. Okay I tell you about this just because one of my other friends is really crazy over Yean which I duno why and dun understand lol

He's with his girl friends and they come as audiences as well.

Super rock zone area is right in front of the stage and we could see all the FANS holding the long banner, placard and colourful neon to support their idol! So this is the overview of the stadium.

I really like their opening.. LOL with all the exciting fireworks effect which I'm too shocked and my reflex is to cover up my eyes but not to take photo haha And they tell the audience "you could take many photos as possible because you help us to promote, you could use as much flash as you like because your flash wouldn't be brighter than our stage lighting effect, you dun need to off your hp because your ringtone wouldn't be louder than our sound effect..." wt* this is freaking cool!

AK is the ambassador for this event so they perform for many time and they even disguise themselves as PRETTY GIRLS.

Actually they are really cute but..... their singing skill need some improvement =.=

So here come the aliens- all the My FM DJ.. actually the concept of the night is "ten brothers" which is a Chinese story.. all the 10 brothers and sisters have different abilities such as the power of eyes, ears, legs and etc.

Since there are quite a number of artists on that day so I just blog few of them who are famous :)

*张芸京 initially I thought she is a HE, I mean when I first saw her/him in magazine lol she is so boyish but her songs are not bad. She has a very melodious voice which the pitch and tone are in between girl and boy (nah this is a compliment)

*严爵 he is super cute and I really love his song! He's a very talented singer and producer. Everyone knows to sing his song and we're so hype up! Everyone is singing with him except me cuz I have a very bad memory esp when it comes to the lyrics lol

Then the last one-most famous one lol Kenji Wu!!! He is very macho lah! lol but I dun like to see him hitting the chest lol although my friend really likes it. I think he'll be in pain after the performance, who knows he'll be moaning in pain like an old man after this.

38 again.. we met Yean again when leaving there. SO NGAM! So we 38 and take his photo (just the back lol), wanna show off to my friend who always claims to be his wife lol hope she won't be sad when she sees the girl beside Yean.

I think this event is a big success since I dun expect much from a birthday bash of radio FM. But they really make it into a very grand and fascinating one! Thumb up for My FM :) Although I still think it's very commercialized lol but look at the positive side, it's just informative, right? Hope I can get the tickets again in next year!

The mega sales was so CRAZY yesterday!!! 50% off storewide in Padini Concept Store and there're so many big sales going around in the mall.

Good news, Tokyo street is officially opened at 6th floor of Pavilion KL! So many Japanese stalls including food and beverage (Restaurants that serve don, ramen, teppayaki and etc!), cute little convenient store with the hello kitty stuffs and Japanese products. And yeah! The Clicks Shop which sells lomo and toy cameras has opened a shop there too! Was so surprised to see their shop because last time I bought a toy camera from them through Facebook! AND I MET TUN DR. MAHATHIR MOHAMAD THERE!!!! Omg he's 86 years old but still so strong! Basically he's walking alone there without anyone else and so many people around him to ask for photography! I really admire him and think he's the most capable Malay leader in M'sia over the years :)

And for the ladies, I wanna suggest a really great boutique in Fehrenheit! It's MIRRORCLE at 2nd floor! After seeing it appeared few time on CLEO, I decided to visit it myself and I fall in love with it. The clothes and bags are very stylish and cheap! The cheapest one is less than RM10 and goes up to RM40+!! I bought few items there :D

Malacca #1: Eleven Bistro Restaurant

I've been to Malacca long ago before my internship but I'm just too lazy to update my blog lol Since I'm too free now, I decide to korek all my Malacca photos and blog about it :D

Actually this trip was a last minute decision by me since I've visited Malacca for few times and I got bored of all the old historical sites, monuments and museums over there. Then I decided to join my housemates one day before the trip because the study week was too long without any exciting plans.

Thanks to my dear housemates aka tour guides of the days, we were safe (although sesat a while upon arrival) and we've visited many places, tasted a lot of delicious local delicacies (including satay celup, nyonya cuisine, portugese cuisine, the famous fried oyster cockles and Nadeje's Mille Crepe!) and and captured tonnes of nice photos <3

So so so.. my first post of Malacca trip is about this restaurant- Eleven Bistro Restaurant in Jonker Street :)

The restaurant is next to the bistro so basically the whole shop-lot is "Eleven-ed" lol it's comfortable, with some oldies decoration and dim lighting :) love the ambiance!

Appetizer: pickled papaya and vege with ikan bilis! Love this very much :D

Frankly, the food is not bad but I prefer nyonya food :D The price is reasonable since they provide set meal with a variety of choices such as the dishes above :)

Voyage of my internship at National Sports Institute (9th May- 8th July 2011)

This is the video that I made for my internship's final presentation. You could see how much impact this internship gave me :D A great memory! First time making a video. Don't laugh at me :))

#2 Datuk Lee Chong Wei. He seems to be shy but actually he's not! He's funny and naughty when people is asking him questions seriously!

#3 Tan Boon Heong. He's is a cool dude. Really cool. I feel scare to approach him.#4 Koo Kien Kiet. Another cool dude. He's like scolding duno how many Xs bad words in the court LOL

#5 Hafiz Hashim. He's so CUTE!

#6 Ong Beng Hee. He's extremely polite and friendly! He even apologized to us bcoz he's sweating and wet when we're asking for photography! He'll greet and smile to us when he's around for fitness training! *heart melting*

#9 Coach Rajagopal. He was taken aback when we asked for photography haha.

Got to see all the elite players are not the priority for me since I'm not a big fans of sports. But this internship really teaches me a lot of things and every day is a new experience and excitement for me. I really respect the staffs in ISN as they're all having very high spirit and really professional in committing their jobs.

Well done to them and I really feel proud when they praised us as the best batch of interns throughout all the years *blush*. All the efforts paid by us in accomplishing the tasks, assignments and presentations were not in vain! They even asked us to work in ISN after graduating next year, but I think I wanna further my study and hopefully in overseas :D Credit to my teammates as they are real good working partners to be and I had lotsa fun hanging around with them :D

Now I begin to miss the time in ISN. Miss the small messy office with the chatters of interns and new staffs. Miss the time when I'm sitting at the audience seat of badminton stadium and hearing the funny conversation between players and the seriousness plus perspiration which made many T shirts gone wet due to the harsh training. I enjoy the time sitting at National Aquatic Centre while watching the practice of swimmers, divers jumping from the diving board and syncronized swimmers with the beautiful movements in water. All the experience just can't be obtained by any other chance unless I'm a sports nutritionist or sports scientist or any staff there.

Putrajaya Floria 2011: Roses Are Forever

Malaysia's premier outdoor garden and flower showcase is once again held at the Waterfront, Precinct 2, putrajaya. The theme for this year is "Roses are Forever". Very romantic huh? *heart melting*

I went there on the first day and it's really crowded there with lotsa people and of course bulky DRLRs. It's encompasses a wide vicinity of indoor and outdoor compound. Trust me, I just walked for around 1/5 of the route and can't tahan because the weather is too hot! Lotsa activities are included in the itinerary such as indigenous performance, graffiti drawing demonstration, photography competition (I think passed already) and etc etc!!!

Sadly to say I just took few photos because too many visitors there and I really lazy to rebut taking photos with them :P

Roses in test tubes! Putting roses in water could preserve it for longer time! :))

I don't think "Roses are Forever" anymore.. See all the rose petals on the floor ROFL

I shall say "Roses are Everywhere" in the vase, test tube, on the wall, dining table, yard, garden and EVERYWHERE. It's quite a scene. Visit Floria 2011 before it ends on 17th July :D

在National Sports Institute的最后一天……

我很幸运，在这期间经历了很多不同的运动比赛 (Malaysian Open Swimming 2011 & SUKMA)，甚至有机会接触国家羽球和足球队、近距离观看俄罗斯水上芭蕾的练习，在 ISAK Level I & II（专业skinfold measurement文凭考试）担任助手，就连平日在外国练球的Datuk Nicol David也在这段期间回大马参加壁球比赛。

百感交集。很舍不得大家 :'(

在这个大家庭里真的学到不少东西

每天都像新的旅程

充满刺激、挑战与未知数。

真的很佩服

这儿每个人的能力和态度

锲而不舍的精神和谦虚的心态。

感激大家教会我很多东西。

我真的觉得大开眼界。

久违的废话篇

我觉得我很奇怪~怎么说呢？

当一堆工作排山倒海迎面而来时，我虽拼命工作但不忘发牢骚，埋怨工作压力而无法生产高品质成品；当工作少时，我却提不起劲去动它，搞到截止日期到了才埋头苦干。

就如考试般，我每每等到考试前几天才有心情读书，虽然成绩过得去，但总会埋怨自己平时不努力而一直让成绩处于美中不足的形态。

该怎么说呢？我就是这样，总不会逼自己做自己不喜欢的事，也不喜欢让自己压力。小时候喜欢阅读，也会乖乖做功课，但那完全出自于自己喜好。父母不常给我压力，也不会督促我读书。我从来不会为了要考获佳绩而逼自己读书，而且也很少补习。因为我讨厌压力，而我也从来不觉得这是个问题。

第一次发现问题存在，是在我中六的时候。那时候课业繁重，课程也很难。我不再对书上的知识有兴趣，也开始讨厌读书，就这样在半放弃的状态下度过了中六。这也写下了我学习生涯最不堪回首的一页（有小小夸张 :P)。

而且，我的运气总是差那一写写。总会经过一番努力后，因一些很无聊或很欠打的科目或事情把我的目标搞砸。

这时候，我开始思考这个问题。发现到成功之道在于毅力和努力，而且要有明确的目标。只要自己有坚定的立场和目标，成功必然不远。运气不好，就是视上天的考验，并往好的方面想。

例子1：

努力读书考好SPM（努力读好中文和1119英文），拿了12个科目，却因为无聊的科目(EST和 MORAL) 考到 A-，而和JPA擦肩而过，让出国留学的梦想粉碎。申请Matriks、Petronas和政府的一堆东西，什么都拿不到。

安慰自己：

呵呵，反正很多人比我厉害也没拿到JPA，没什么大不了，又不是世界末日！最多嘛读STPM咯~政府不帮我，我嘛投火箭咯～

例子2：

被抽中NS（这不是个问题），上网查自己拿到哪个camp时，臭哥哥一直在旁边高喊Baling！Baling！按进去时真的是Baling。

（Baling 可堪称是全吉打，甚至是全马最严的camp，教练喜欢以各种理由与“酷刑”惩罚学生，而且每晚睡前听 taklimat,女生都得穿baju kurung，男生得穿formal和打领带，有够变态！）

安慰自己：

以为每个人可以尝试到正宗当兵的感觉咩？这是个磨练、磨练～没什么大不了！最多嘛安分守己咯！

例子3：

MUET考试拿到Band 4, 而且是219, 差一分就拿到Band 5。

安慰自己：

哎呀，我的英语也没那么好啦！与其当个烂Band 5, 不如在Band 4 中当个好汉！

例子4:

某个学期，我连很难的科目都考得不俗，希望拿到4.0, 但进到一个老师很烂的Band 3和Band 4英语班。我们拿的是oral interaction, 那本英文书的程度容易到好像小学（可能一点中学）那样，全大学的同学都说这科很容易score。偏偏遇到一个part time的拽老师，每次给assignment的分数很低，还诬蔑我组的assignment是上网抄的！屁！那是我们辛辛苦苦写出来的！我们和她当面对质，她说她教过很多学生，知道我们(Band 3 Band 4) 的水准不可能那么高到好像master phD那样　（这句话很搞笑！）！还不肯还我们assignment让我们看错误在哪里。我还气到email 投诉信到Fakulti Bahasa Moden dan Komunikasi的 Coordinator，但得不到回复。就这样，那个学期，我唯独这科拿不到A。虽然对我来说，成绩不算什么，也不能代表实力，尽力了就好，但我就是不甘心这样被对待！

安慰自己：

那种人会有报应的 >< 之后真的没看到她在UPM出现过。

例子5:

上大学时申请不到JPA。人人都说那个很容易申请，而且是抽的。

安慰自己：

我不想和政府打工，所以也没上诉。(可能JPA已blacklist我 :P)

例子6:

每年新年和哥哥妹妹玩牌打麻将，一定会输。甚至运气差到每局的牌都是烂到连妈妈都摇头那种。有次爸爸偷偷拉我到一旁，告诉我：“你和爸爸一样很聪明，但聪明人运气都很差。”　之后他塞了钱给我，叫我去和哥哥妹妹继续玩，不要扫兴。不知我应该哭还是笑～呵呵。

安慰自己：

逢赌必输教会我不赌博，不赌就是赢家嘛！

好啦，讲了一堆无聊的例子。可能这些例子让别人觉得我欠打～还是那句，视失败为磨练，不气馁并再接再厉！还有很多例子但我都忘了~这些也不算挫折，只是人生小小的经历。每当不开心时，我总会想到我的家人。呵呵~

我有很好的家人，很伟大的父母。父亲是个happy go lucky的人，他很聪明且时常天马行空，但缺乏毅力而时常半途而废，呵呵！但他从来不会阻止我做任何事，秉持着“放孩子勇敢去闯，让他们学习和变creative”的精神。小时后，他常常带我们旅行、看戏、野餐等，还讲笑话和故事给我们听，教我们折纸和画画。母亲却相反，她是个很努力和有毅力的人，想做的事一定会做到。而且母亲比较严厉，对我们管教甚严。那时候我们最爱爸爸，常常叫他保护我们，尤其是妈妈拿着藤条的时候 :) 妈妈是个家庭主妇，把家打理得井井有条，我很想念她煮的菜哦！

虽然上了大学我还是很懒惰 >< 但我立定了目标。虽然于实习期间曾动摇过，但我相信如果目标实现了，就算不是最好的选择，至少我不会后悔。老土一句，人因梦想而伟大嘛！

说了那么多废话，是时候停止了 :P

Bukit Jalil Garden Photography

After staying at Bukit Jalil for more than 1 month, at last (I've been busy with sports assignments for the past few weeks). I've visited Bukit Jalil garden which is situated just a stone's throw away from the place that I'm staying currently.

The main reason I went there was to try to capture photos with my friend's DSLR- Nikon D3100. As a novice and amateur or even disqualified to be called in that way, these are some photos taken by me lol.

Bukit Jalil Garden is a very big garden with lush green scenery and vast vicinity of themed landscape. There are different decorations, plants and statues according to the cultures of several countries. For instances, Holland, Japan, China, Thailand, Indonesia and etc! It surprised me because the garden is really amazing!

Life as an intern at Sports Nutrition Centre of National Sports Institute, Bkt Jalil (#1 National Badminton Squad)

This is my second week in ISN, I'm glad to have internship there :D Most of you must be unfamiliar with Institute Sukan Negara right? Actually it's an institute situated at Bkt Jalil which comprised different departments from sport medicine, psychology, physiotherapy, physiology, biomechanic, sports nutrition and etc specifically for athletes. It provides different services for athletes such as gym, medical service, physiotherapy, nutrition advices, biomechanic which include the explaining of game tactics and movements and etc.. I can't remember all the details LMAO

Although the life as intern in ISN is very hectic but it's fun and I really learn a lot from the nutritionists and dietitians there. Sport nutrition is a very specific and individualized knowledge; therefore, the nutritionist needs to know each player and also educate them on pre/during/post training/competition meals. We also need to assess their body composition measurements in order to track their weight and fat changes for optimum performance.

For the first week, I'm very lucky to meet the national badminton team which includes all the squads and events because we need to conduct a cafe food satisfaction survey whereby we can chat to them to know about their sports life. Attachment for 1 week, yes! Don't envy me LOL

Of course, we are given a great chance to observe their training!

Wanted to take photo with Coach Rexy so so much but missed the chance because he's busy joking with the team without wearing top. So I feel SHY to ask for photo shooting LOL

Failed to capture nice photos because they're to FAST!

Multi-strokes practice- the coach will throw the shutters continuously and they need to hit at different positions to different opposite spots.

In the end of the attachment, what I've seen is not the fame but it's their determination, "perspiration" lol (they change at least 2 clothes per training session) and efforts. The training is really harsh and it requires full commitment from them. Normally, they have training of around 5 to 6 times per week with 2 sessions per day. The nutritionist who is in charged of badminton told us her experience with the squads. Can't tell much here but I really impressed with the life of a full time athlete!

26th Scientific Conference of Nutrition Society Malaysia (NSM)

The Nutrition Society of Malaysia (NSM) seeks to fulfill two main objectives which are to promote healthy nutrition in the community, in support of the government efforts to combat the increase in diet-related chronic diseases in the country (eg obesity, diabetes, coronary heart disease, hypertension and certain cancers) and advance nutrition science among the society's members.

As a nutritionist-to-be lol* we are anticipated to join NSM annual conference to update the latest nutrition knowledge locally and globally. There will be poster presentation and young investigator thesis presentation too. We're there to support our seniors and learn from them. ~~Of course to know and understand who're our rivals from other uni as well.~~

It's my second time to join a conference (first time was YES conference, an eye opening one), so this time I've prepare some must-bring-along things when attending a conference- sweater and MONOPOLY DEAL. My housemates are all so into this game!!!

So basically we were there to play, eat and get all the gifts and samples from different companies such as Yakult, Vitagen, Dutch Lady, Nestle, Appeton and many more!

One big difference I could notice from different universities is the sense of competitiveness. For instance, UPM students are all so laid back while UKM students are hardworking and have kinda alertness of competition. So I could say that there's pros and cons for this :) Though I won't reveal what's the good and bad here haha xD Anyway, we should indeed enjoy our short uni life :))

All these indicate that we are going to be in the final year few months later. We have to complete our thesis for final year. Basically for nutrition students, we can choose community or lab based. Community is more on developing surveys and take the measurement from community such as children, adolescents or elderly and there's a wide arrays of topics to be chosen. I'm more interested on clinical and lab. I've been considering the topics of glycemic index (clinical- let the subjects eat the breakfast and do few times of finger pricked test to test the glucose level) and rats (lab- measure the glucose level of white rats).

Anyway, I've chosen the topic for my final year project- Effect of lingzi on glucose level and weight changes of induced diabetic rats. Wish me luck :D

Lastly for my dearest friend in UKM, we can't change the surrounding but we have to adapt and get through it with smile on face. Who knows ur smile could defeat them? ++++uuuu, I support u!!!

My very first DIY French Manicure

Just to prove that I'm extremely busy studying :P I do my french manicure while studying, so good girl LMAO My first time doing this, so the skill is so so only lah.. I tak tahu malu wanna write a tutorial on this.. since I notice that my blog is dead and I wanna rescue it LOL

Apply a coat of natural colour ranged from beige to pink.. :)

Ta-da! (ignore my dry horrible finger)

Then, use this magical manicure guides by Sally Hansen! Actually you can use brush + nail polish remover to clear the untidy inner brim of white tips too if do not want to use these guides! But this is easier for beginner :)

(You can refer to tutorial on YouTube if don't understand what am I saying haha)

Just stick the guide on your nail :)

Put on white nail colour above the guide :)

Let it dry and pull off the guide and TA-DA! :D

My blog is dead.. dead :(

I'm extremely busy for this semester, wth.. Multitasking ranged from businessman, researcher, Japanese, nutritionist and actor LOL. Worse thing is I'm in PAIN now. I need a roof canal therapy for my broken little baby milk tooth *crying* For those who do not know what is that, it's sort of removing your nerves down the gum permanently.

Talking about this hectic semester, it's started with tonnes of difficult-to-be-accomplished tasks and assignments. Then, we have our mid term tests and it's like 1 or 2 papers per week and forever never ending, so that's been a long long time I never chill out with my friends in mall! Then, I have a pending health promotion programme which needs a lot of commitment and time to run it. Well, afterward will be the stupid final tests. Best thing is 2 days after final paper, my intership begins WTF ! And my internship will be in National Sport Institute in Bukit Jalil, it's just me.. alone there.. *sobs* I haven't found a place near there YET.

Next week I'm having a health promotion programme in Klinik Kesihatan Jinjang. I have to look after all the children brought by mothers or caregivers who participate our programme. Basically our programme is to educate the mothers or caregivers who have underweight or stunting children on healthy eating and child feeding practice. That's why I'm busy.

Haih after nagging much on my busy study life, it's time to practise Japanese with my teammates. Having quiz on 3 persons dialogue tomorrow :( And will have an appointment with dentist tomorrow morning *Sigh*.

Attended the interview session by National Sport Institute for internship. Then followed by a horrible yet exciting presentation on health promotion. Of course ma single girls' night out with my babes! Dinner at Spaghetti Grill and midnight K singing in Neway Puchong!! With love and panda eyes!!!

Attended a seminar about 'Umami' by profs from Japan. Busy with assignments and part time translations and testsss!! Currently on9-ing in Fun Ok Tmn Connaught!

Celebrating CNY in my grandparents' house in Taman Maluri, KL! One good thing for every cny is: No traffic jam for me! Why? LOL Because my hometown is in KL and I'm staying in Kulim, Kedah. So my whole family will travel to south from north every year, the very jammed road will always be the adjacent route muahaha~

When I was small and went to KL during CNY, the first building that came into my eyesight was KLCC Twin Tower. I still remember how excited we were and how we yelled when seeing the skyscraper which indicates that we gonna reach grandparents' house. Now, the view is blocked by the high cost condominiums in Mont Kiara.

Sound sad huh? Haha~

Anyway,

it's a cute bunny year ^^

PIZZA HUT MOB

Last weekend, I did my very first part time job in KL. Cute huh? Little chef lol

Many of my friends joined this mob so I became part of it as well to earn some extra pocket money. RM70 per day but just need to work from 12pm to 2pm and 5pm to 7pm. Our job scope was to distribute Pizza Hut flyers and balloons. It was quite enjoyable and we did have a lot of fun. We went in one big gang and scared the passerby lol And the best thing was each of us entitled to one set of RM50++ pizza voucher for one working day *clap hands* The mobs were carried out in Subang, Sg. Wang, KL Central, Masjid Jamek and Jalan Sultan Ismail. Maybe you saw us there too!

Hope to get more part time jobs and get rid of ma poor student's life ROFL

Nutrition Reunion Dinner 2011

A CNY reunion dinner was held for all Nutrition students. It's the time when all the seniors and juniors could gather and build better rapport between us. Of course I have to show up once in a blue moon, or else my juniors won't recognize me :P

My table is number 7, our group name is "Yam Sheng" ('cheers' in cantonese), don't look down at us, we have the most intimidating loud voice! So "ban nai". That night we had many games such as group singing, speed mandarin eating, numbered balloon pricking and "cheong mun yan" sushi eating games (substitute with "nian gao") ~~ignore the games' names, I simply put one.~~ My group won for games, 2nd runner up.. hehe..

My blog will be in hibernation state at the moment. Am tooooo busy for this week, what a hectic semester. Let's see what I've never completed yet.

Health Promotion: This is definitely the most hated subject by all nutrition third year students in UPM now! Need to develop a full and detailed proposal for intervention program without clear guidance from lecturer. So many things to be followed up including sponsorship and application to different setting for health intervention. So many things are unsure, how to develop proposal and pass up in such short period? *headache*

Nutrition Therapy: Another unclear assignment. Need to plan meal and dietary education by taking into account all the particulars of patient. Yet the lecturer is rushing too fast because she wanna give birth in April *crying*

Research Method: Need to narrow down the research scope, choose a research title, plan the framework and write out chapter 1. Group work again. Have to review so many journals and thesis. *bang wall*

MGM (Entrepreneurship): Okay, I don't know why it's a compulsory subj for all UPM students. Actually it's interesting and fun because we can sell anything we want and generate income. BUT, we are so busy for this sem, who care about this? No time to discuss for the proposal but we need to pass up it soon too. I haven't completed the previous class assignment which is to design company logo *kill me please*

Japanese: I haven't memorize all the hiragana and katakana *oops*

KOH (Interpersonal Communication): Erm, the lecturer is cute but weird. No assignment from this subj currently but we have to act (drama/sketch) for the coming main assignment. wt.. I'm very lame in acting and the worst thing is, I have stage fear * x.x *

Lastly, it's not easy to have group work *sigh* unless everyone gives full commitment. Aza aza fighting for this sem, I will not give up. But now, I need to sleep..zz. teehee.. Nightz guys!
