Finally graduated! :D

Yeah! I'm proud to be a graduate of UPM :)) The first day I stepped into UPM, I was impressed by the lush green picturesque scenery! In fact, a conducive environment is very important for me. Then, I met a bunch of crazy friends! We studied together and had fun at the same time. Test results were not an issue or any big deal for us and most importantly was the learning process. We never hesitate to help each others all the time. I miss the Q&A session conducted by us one day before each test and how we annoyed each other when we were stressful lols I also miss the days when I first learned tennis, traditional dance, Japanese, and joined all sorts of interesting activities in UPM.

Of course there were moments that I felt I didn't belong to here and disappointed with the curriculum. Still, at the end of the days, I am proud and grateful to choose UPM as my first choice :)

and guess what, I was smiling all the way when looking at the photos and reminiscing all the crazy moments that were captured vividly in my mind. It's not the fame or ranking of university that counts, but the lovely people around me that never fail to make me smile :)

my friends! (。◕‿◕。)

My family :)) they are the greatest support for me! I'm such a lucky girl to have the best daddy mommy and brother sisters in the world!
My caring granny :)
Last but not least, a little prize that surprised me :) it's indeed an encouragement for me!

Congratulations for your graduation. My daughter (doing SPM now) has applied for the foundation program in Agricultural Science at UPM 2013(a 8 month fast track program). She had chosen Mathematics and Medicine as first and second choice respectively. She is one of the top students in her school. I hope she gets selected and does well during the 8 months of foundation studies to qualify for her choices. Please share with me your experiences as a student over there, the accomodation, meals, lecturers, extra-curricular activities, etc. Once again, a hearty congratulation to you. Regards. Mr. Tan

Thanks Meitzue, Kian Fai and Mr. Tan.

@Mr. Tan: Firstly congrats on your daughter's achievement too and hope she will get what she wants! Overall I'm satisfied with the accommodation, meals, lectures and extra-curricular activities here. It depends on which hostel that she gets so I can't guarantee about that :) yeah the extra-curricular activities are awesome! There are a bunch of activities to be chosen from. Do encourage her to take part in more activities because it's the best way to improve her soft-skills and leadership.

Thanks for the info. How many to a room? Do the non-bumis stay together? Are the subjects taught only in English? How are the lecturers? Are they good, friendly and helpful? Sorry for all the questions. Parents are naturally anxious about their children's education. If you don't mind me asking, what's next for you :) Cheers.

Hi Mr Tan, basically they will separate the bumis and nonbumis :) and the number of students per room is depends on the hostel. I think mostly are 2 people per room. The lectures are all in English except few subjects. Since I was studying in different faculty, I'm not sure with the attitude of other lecturers :)
