Recent food hunts

I guess I'm more active on Instagram now since I have spent most of my time on studying and sleeping lols anyway I have a new hobby now.. which is food hunting XD due to the stressful and boring life I have now, my only hobby is MAKAN, which will never be missed every week, that's why I'm getting fat day by day.

I have tonnes of photos to share, but I have picked few photos of foods that I wanna recommend to all lately :) I know it's a bit lame since most of them are quite famous and already visited by most of you. But no worries, I have many photos in my gallery now and I promise I'll update my blog more often :))

Umai-ya Japanese Restaurant
Kare ramen RM24; Saba-shio yaki RM17
The curry is a bit sour, compared to the ordinary Japanese curry that I have tasted before. The saba shio is delicious, I love the crispy outer layer very much. My friends tried several other dishes but I didn't have a chance to capture the photos :P Overall, the environment and ambiance really worth the values but the taste is moderate.

Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant
RM22 (spicy) & RM19 (non-spicy)/pax. At least 2 pax/ order
My description for this is a funny one. Guess what, every time after my meal in Uncle Jang, my comment will be "feel nauseated with the oil... yucks, I will not eat this again". I even throw away the stamp card given by them. But............. I will visit again and again..........I think I'm in love with their ramen subconsciously or maybe they cast a spell on me.

Btw, I have tried the spicy, non spicy, and also spicy+non spicy. My advice is, if you're gonna order 2 pax, non spicy will be the best, or order 2:1 (non spicy: spicy) otherwise. Trust me, I love spicy foods and I can eat cili padi, but if you want a perfect beautiful memory and delicious meal, listen to my advice mwahahah! Their spicy level is over my limit especially if you are forced to finish up a large portion of it.. just like me.

Bumbu Bali
Nasi campur Bumbu Bali RM23.50; Nasi campur special RM28.50
I revisited this place because I love their foods so much.

Restaurant Ah Koong
Love their signature fish balls :) you can order the fishball noodles with or without add ons and choose tomyam or clear soup base. They have a variety of seafood to be chosen from :) Frankly, this tomyam seafood bihun cost more than RM40+ LOL I guess I'm insane..

Snowflakes
My new addiction, sesame supreme! :) RM8.40

Nadeje Mille Crepe
Berry berry mille crepe RM9.50
Nedeje is in the town! Located in 3 two mall in PJ :) I know it's expensive, they keep increasing the price due to their high popularity. But I will definitely have this again and again.

Stadt German Cuisine & Bistro

I have been wanted to try German pork knuckle for a long time! Finally could give it a try during a small gathering with lovely friends :) Since we wanted to choose a place for lunch and BEER to chill and relax our weary bodies and minds after a long week of work or study, we went to Stadt German Cuisine and Bistro in Bandar Puteri Puchong.

The lighting of bistro is dim, and coupled with light music, definitely a good place to hang out with friends!

Crispy pork knuckle RM41.90 they have been voted as the best knuckle in town! The portion is large though. It goes well with BEER :D totally indulge in it.

Pork chop RM22.90 not well marinated enough from my point of view and the texture is rubbery O.O

Honey glazed pork ribs RM22.90 I love this!! Juicy meat with sweet honey. Nyum nyum~

German salad. Didn't get to try this but my friend said it's delicious! Look at the generous sprinkles of cheese powder slurp*

Ordered Carlsberg but definitely wanna try the German beer next time lols

Best Steamboat!!!

Best Steamboat!!!

I entered this shop coincidentally due to its promotion on hot and spicy (ma la) steamboat. We’ve tried its “ma la” soup but it’s not so good compared to tomyam and herbal soup. Still drooling when thinking of the tomyam.

The shop name is “low ma ji” which means mother in Cantonese. I love it so much!! The seafood is very fresh and the best thing is you do not need to grill the food by yourself! Grilling will be done by them, you just need to clip the number on your plate, and concentrate on your STEAMBOAT. I love the seafood there, they have the sweet mantis shrimps and big big crabs! YUMMY!!

Each person needs to pay RM22++ for it. Trust me, it’s far more delicious than most of the highly rated steamboat restaurant that I’ve been before.

The shop is situated in Puchong, the middle shop lot opposite of Bandar Puteri. They have their own website too à www.lowmaji.com.my

MUST TRY!!!

BUMBU BALI and STATION ONE CAFE, Puchong

It is double storeys so you can choose either location to dine in.

Love the Indonesian and western cuisines there.
The foods there are delicious but a bit pricey for me.

The decor is antique and artistic.

The dim lighting creates a comfortable and pleasant ambience.

The foods that we've ordered.

My cute friends.

NEXT, STATION ONE CAFE

Lemon ribena, I love it! Although it suits kids more.. wakaka~

The breads are.. erm.. not nice one.. yucks.. I can cook better than them after attending food preparation lab sessions. LOL.

Lastly, I truly love milk shake.. but it's super duper fattening!!!

♥ Weekend

Had a great weekend with my friends.
I were about to post an entry yesterday but too bad can’t online for whole day. Stupid Uspot, lame.
Well, after the test on Friday, we went to Kajang for dinner. 21st Century is situated on a hill, the food there is so nice and cheap- we ordered Mix Grill Cheese Steamboat, fresh oysters and lamb chop. It’s so serene and windy + I love the night view~

Then, the next morning, 4am out of the bed, rise and ‘shine’, off to Broga Hill with my coursemates. SO SO SO windy there, I was so worried of my roomie, seemed gonna blew off by the wind, LOL. Then we had our breakfast in Sri Serdang, DIM SUM. And we went to Beryl’s. I bought my favourite dark choc and mint dark choc. So happy as it was the first time for so many of us to went out together for such a nice outing.

After that, spent my day at One Utama. Just bought a tee from Forever 21. I bet I won’t go there anymore after 21, just like I won’t read Seventeen magazine after my 17. LOLLLL.. I should praise myself for being so brave to have my haircut (from LONG to SHORT). It costs around rm65 for a haircut in other saloons, the shop I went- Infinity is around RM45 for senior cut. It’s quite expensive for me actually but since I seldom cut my hair outside, I gave it a try (my mom used to cut my hair, she was a hairstylist). I told her, I don’t want my hair to be too short, but she insisted shorter would be nice. So she tried her best to make it looks long at the side. LOL

Sunday. Actually I planned to rest and do my assignments. BUT… but… whole day can’t online, STUPIAKKKKK… making me so bored, I watched Hannah Montana with my lappy. Okay, I admit I am so so so OUTDATED, I just watched Hannah Montana YESTERDAY but it’s a nice and meaningful movie. I love the part when she was singing with her dad, the butterfly-fly-away song, *tears fillin*. I miss my dad and mommy. I miss home ;(

"You tuck me in, turned out the light

Kept me safe and sound at night
Little girls depend on things like that

Brushed my teeth and combed my hair
Had to drive me everywhere
You were always there when I looked back

You had to do it all alone
Make a living, make a home
Must have been as hard as it could be

But when I couldn't sleep at night
Scared things wouldn't turn out right
You would hold my hand and sing to me

Caterpillar in the tree
How you wonder who you'll be
can't go far but you can always dream
Wish you may and wish you might
don't you worry, hold on tight
I promise you there will come a day
Butterfly fly away
Butterfly fly away (Butterfly fly away)

Got your wings, now you can't stay
Take those dreams and make them all come true
Butterfly fly away (Butterfly fly away)
you've been waiting for this day
All along and know just what to do"

Then msg came *v* my friend said wanna go have dinner outside. WOW. Cure my boredom and emo. We went to The Mines for dinner and watched Tooth Fairy. So FUNNY, laughed my head off, OMG, I like the fairy’s attire and all the little tools. LOL.
A long post about my weekend. Mourn for my saving account, my money bid farewell to me, quivering their wings =.=
