Coconut Jelly @Coconut Grove Dessert Corner

I was craving for dessert the other day so decided to try out the renowned coconut jelly at Damansara that was a hit not long ago. It was quite difficult to search for this place since it is a small corner shop located at a quiet side of the town.

The auntie who runs this shop was very polite and she recommended us few desserts that indisputably delicious and really catered our tastebuds in the hot sunny afternoon.

This is the coconut jelly with aloe vera! Love this very much, it's very refreshing ^^
                                   

Overall I truly recommend this cafe to all because the price is very reasonable since you get a whole refreshing sweet coconut plus jelly with RM5+ ;)

Bulgogi Brothers @Paradigm Mall

Read few good reviews on the recently launched Korean restaurant-Bulgogi Brothers in the town :) so I decided to try it out. I chose the outlet in Paradigm Mall and it didn't disappoint me at all! 

The environment is cozy and well decorated. The waiters are very friendly and accommodating.

Overall, I had a great time there and I really love the food :D anyway I didn't get to try the signature dishes such as grilled beef. Might give it a try during next visit!

Thai Up and Sweet Chat @The Mines

This is the first time I blog about the food outlets in Serdang after studying there for more than 4 years lols I always think Serdang is a boring place with the exception of a wide array of local Chinese foods like pan mee, yee mee, ais kacang etc in the kampung baru. However, I'm not going to introduce Chinese cuisine today hahah conversely I'm going to blog about a cafe in The Mines Shopping Centre that features delicious Thai cuisine with reasonable price :) 

Thai Up! They are under the same company with Chatime if I'm not mistaken. The environment is cozy and relaxing :))

I went there with  my friend, so we ordered set dinner which included rice, sambal kangkung, tomyam soup, chilli chicken and ice lemon teas. Just RM27.90 The portion was just perfect for two girls :) very delicious!

Next, we went to Sweet Chat. I wanted to crave for sweet stuffs badly ;) Ordered some desserts there, but not up to my expectation though. The desserts were way over sweet and the glutinous rice balls were too soft and lacked of elasticity. Hmmm but the durian pancake was okayy for me.

Antipodean Cafe

A very unique cafe in Bangsar which serves scrumptious breakfast :)) There's a huge crowd in the early morning of Sunday, I waited for 20 minutes just to get into the cafe. The environment is pretty classic and classy, with their menu on the "blackboard wall" lol looks like a mural to me though. The crews are very polite and efficient as well :)

Big breakfast (toast, bacon/beef/chicken/pork sausage, mushroom, scrambled egg, hash brown) RM19

Overall, I'm satisfied with the foods and service provided by them :) the portion is very big, so I suggest the girls to share it among 2 people :) And of course, they open all day long and not only serves breakfast. Recent food hunts

I guess I'm more active on Instagram now since I have spent most of my time on studying and sleeping lols anyway I have a new hobby now.. which is food hunting XD due to the stressful and boring life I have now, my only hobby is MAKAN, which will never be missed every week, that's why I'm getting fat day by day. 

I have tonnes of photos to share, but I have picked few photos of foods that I wanna recommend to all lately :) I know it's a bit lame since most of them are quite famous and already visited by most of you. But no worries, I have many photos in my gallery now and I promise I'll update my blog more often :))

Umai-ya Japanese Restaurant

Kare ramen RM24; Saba-shio yaki RM17

The curry is a bit sour, compared to the ordinary Japanese curry that I have tasted before. The saba shio is delicious, I love the crispy outer layer very much. My friends tried several other dishes but I didn't have a chance to capture the photos :P Overall, the environment and ambiance really worth the values but the taste is moderate.   

Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant

RM22 (spicy) & RM19 (non-spicy)/pax. At least 2 pax/ order

My description for this is a funny one. Guess what, every time after my meal in Uncle Jang, my comment will be "feel nauseated with the oil... yucks, I will not eat this again". I even throw away the stamp card given by them. But............. I will visit again and again..........I think I'm in love with their ramen subconsciously or maybe they cast a spell on me.  

Btw, I have tried the spicy, non spicy, and also spicy+non spicy. My advice is, if you're gonna order 2 pax, non spicy will be the best, or order 2:1 (non spicy: spicy) otherwise. Trust me, I love spicy foods and I can eat cili padi, but if you want a perfect beautiful memory and delicious meal, listen to my advice mwahahah! Their spicy level is over my limit especially if you are forced to finish up a large portion of it.. just like me.

Restaurant Ah Koong

Love their signature fish balls :) you can order the fishball noodles with or without add ons and choose tomyam or clear soup base. They have a variety of seafood to be chosen from :) Frankly, this tomyam seafood bihun cost more than RM40+ LOL I guess I'm insane..

Nedeje is in the town! Located in 3 two mall in PJ :) I know it's expensive, they keep increasing the price due to their high popularity. But I will definitely have this again and again.

Plan B, Mid Valley

Has been procrastinating this post for a long long time due to my packed schedule :/ Plan B is definitely at the top of my list if I would like to recommend a decent and casual dinner, price slightly at medium high but definitely worth the pennies considering the delicious foods and services provided :)

Egg benedict RM14 (Grilled turkey ham and poached egg on a English muffin, topped with Hollandaise sauce) it's a must-ordered food in Plan B!

Classic egg sandwich RM11 I love their home-made chips :)) very crispy and tasteful.

Spicy aglio olio RM15 (spaghetti sauteed with olive oil, roasted chillies and garlic) It looked plain but trust me, this is the best aglio olio I've ever tried! 

Wild mushroom RM20. Love the generous portion of mushroom and the scent of truffle oil and thyme.. yummy :)

Spicy buffalo wings RM20 Hmm I would say that this is not my favourite though, I prefer Chilli's buffalo wings :) it's too creamy for me and not spicy enough.

Lunch buffet @Gobei San, Starhill Gallery

Had lunch at Gonbei San, Starhill, which serves a range of Japanese dishes. The restaurant is located right opposite Jogoya. I bought the voucher from Groupon which cost around RM50+ per pax, while the original price definitely cost around RM80+.

The ambiance is good, classy Japan-styled architecture.

However, the foods did not meet my expectation. I have tasted most of the dishes there but most of them tasted worse than ordinary Japanese cuisine outlet in the town. The ranges of foods provided there are limited as well.

Overall I dislike the buffet and I will not visit them again. I think it is over-rated as well.

Stadt German Cuisine & Bistro

I have been wanted to try German pork knuckle for a long time! Finally could give it a try during a small gathering with lovely friends :) Since we wanted to choose a place for lunch and BEER to chill and relax our weary bodies and minds after a long week of work or study, we went to Stadt German Cuisine and Bistro in Bandar Puteri Puchong.

The lighting of bistro is dim, and coupled with light music, definitely a good place to hang out with friends! 

Crispy pork knuckle RM41.90 they have been voted as the best knuckle in town! The portion is large though. It goes well with BEER :D totally indulge in it.

 Pork chop RM22.90 not well marinated enough from my point of view and the texture is rubbery O.O

 Honey glazed pork ribs RM22.90 I love this!! Juicy meat with sweet honey. Nyum nyum~

German salad. Didn't get to try this but my friend said it's delicious! Look at the generous sprinkles of cheese powder slurp*

Ordered Carlsberg but definitely wanna try the German beer next time lols
