As one of the volunteers to raise fund for PT Foundation in conjunction with World AIDS Day, I gained much fun and experience from it.Being in the team of rowing angels, we distributed red ribbons and postcards whilebeggingraising fund from public. If you've been to Sg Wang on last weekend, you might had seen me there :DI've visited PT Foundation during maternal and child health class. Some mothers and babies are really innocent because they infected by husband/father without realizing it. They are discriminated by family and friends, lost their jobs and even their human rights. People are always disdainful of HIV/AIDS patients and it's really pathetic.PT Foundation is there to provide care services to them and they always do outreach services to distribute free condoms to sex workers. We should really educate public on HIV/AIDS. It CAN'T be transmitted through saliva and skin contact. The common ways of transmission are unsafe sexual intercourse, sharing needle for injection and blood transfusion from infected persons. Please don't say," don't touch me, you got AIDS!" I've been hearing this several times :(Any further information, you could search for PT Foundation in Facebook =)Photos (grabbed from the photographer on that day and some are from the page)
